HELP TO RAGPICKER CHILDREN
:

With the co-operation of Pujit Rupani Trust we have started a Mobile Toy Library in a new Maruti Van. This is equipped with toys, color television, VCD player, public address system, educational CD's.
This van goes to 100 slum areas a month, i.e., four slum areas per day.


Toy Show conducted by Rotary Club


Total 20,000 children get benefit per month. One teacher goes in the van. After toy-show, she teaches basic education and hygine. We have also provided computers to the Rotary Center dedicated towards welfare of street children. We have given three multimedia computers with color Monitor, Printer, Computer Educational CD's, furniture for the computer, 150 school benches, 10 electrical fans and educational books. The cost of the entire project is Rs. 5,07,000/-. This was a C.O. Grant project funded by The Rotary Foundation. This project was selected by the District Governor and it was nominated in the "Rotary Awards For Service To Humanity (INDIA) Trust".
